Shawn has been in the antique business for 20 years and importing from Europe for the past 10 years. Over the last 10 years, we have traveled extensively through Europe to acquire quality antiques at the best prices. We also have an office located in France. We do all our own buying, eliminating the need for pickers who upcharge. We travel throughout France and England, buying entire estates, purchase most of our inventory at markets and buy in volume. We do not travel with the so called Antique Source tours, where everyone gets a commission, and we handle our own logistics, rather than hiring a large shipping company who charges to follow you and consolidates your shipments. We operate on a small markup, which means lower prices for you. We understand that one of the greatest obstacles to being successful in the business today, is acquiring inventory at a price that enables you to maximize your profits. Unlike other importers who sell to the public and offer discounts to the trade, we are to the trade only. There is a saying in the antiques business, that most items rotate from dealer to dealer and therefore, drive up the prices. You can be assured that our product has never been on the American market and will therefore, help you "differentiate" your business.
